Science Olympiad is a high school science competition where students create devices, learn science, and work in groups to compete against other teams.

Detector build
We built a Force Sensing Device that will accurately measure and display both voltage and actual masses of different samples from 20 to 1,000 grams.
Scrambler
We designed a device that was able to transport an egg across a gym floor. The device was measured based on how fast it got to the endpoint and how precisely it was able to stop.
Codebusters
As a team, we worked together to decode messages using historical and modern ciphers.
Fermi questions
Using the scientific method we estimated to the nearest power of 10 what the answers to the science-related questions ex… how many moles of water are in a 500ml bottle of water.
Write it CAD it
In this event, you work as a team of 2 where one person gets to write a description of an object that the other team member will have to create in CAD software.
